Woodpecker Scaler Tip for UDS & EMS Scalers

Woodpecker scaler tips are designed to be compatible with UDS and EMS type ultrasonic scalers. They come in various shapes and sizes, each intended for specific indications in specific areas. These tips undergo back-and-forth movements along the handpiece axis, driven by ultrasonic micro-oscillations. The working section of the tip is applied to the treatment surface, providing effective scaling and cleaning.

• G1: Removal of supragingival deposits in all quadrants.
• G2: Removal of heavy supragingival deposits. Apply a flat end to the surface of the teeth.
• G3: Removal of supragingival deposits in all quadrants, including the interproximal and sulcus
  areas.
• G4: Recommended for the treatment of interproximal spaces and for supragingival scaling.
• G7: Removal of crowns. Apply the instrument onto the surface and activate it. Increase pressure until vibrations can no longer be heard and maintain for a few seconds.
• E1: 120° holder, used to hold the file diameter Ф0.7mm or Ф0.8mm.
  Recommended for the cleaning and irrigating of the root canal, usually used for the anterior
  teeth.
• E2: Diamond-coated(90um), used for removing the calcification and bad filling material of the pulp
  cavity, exposing the root canal orifice.
• E3: Recommended for melting gutta-percha. Immerse the instrument in eugenol before inserting it into the canal. Slightly press the instrument against the cone of the gutta-percha and activate the scaler to
  condense until the canal is filled.
• P1: Slim and sharp, recommended for cleaning and irrigating subgingival deposits.
• P3: Recommended for cleaning and irrigating of periodontal deep pockets.
